Debbie Han Positioning & Offer Book a call

For experienced experts & founder-led businesses

Your expertise is valuable. Make it easier to understand, trust and buy.

I help experienced experts and founder-led service businesses turn deep, hard-to-explain work into a clear position, compelling offer and client journey, so the right people get what you do, see why it matters, and know why to choose you.

You want people to get it.

Not after a 30-minute explanation.

Not only after they’ve worked with you.

Not only because someone they trust referred you.

You want the right person to encounter your business and think…

  • “This is for me.”
  • “They understand the problem I have.”
  • “I can see why their approach is different.”
  • “I know why I’d want to work with them.”

But when your expertise has evolved over years, that can be surprisingly hard to create.

You may be…

  • Explaining what you do differently every time.
  • Relying heavily on referrals.
  • Offering too many things.
  • Struggling to show what makes you different.
  • Finding that prospects need long conversations before they “get it.”

You hear…

What you hear

“That sounds interesting.”

What you want

“This is exactly what I need.”

The problem is often not the quality of your work. It’s that too much of its value is still invisible to the buyer.

The shift

When people understand the value, buying feels different.

The right person can see…

  • Why this matters to them.
  • Why your approach is different.
  • What they could get from working with you.
  • And what to do next.

That changes the whole relationship.

  • Referrals become easier because people know exactly who to send your way.
  • Sales conversations become more about fit than explanation.
  • Pricing makes more sense because the value has context.
  • Marketing becomes easier because you know what to lead with.
  • And prospects arrive with more understanding and more trust already built.

You no longer have to carry the full weight of the sale in every conversation.

Your business starts communicating your value before you enter the room.

I know this problem from the inside

I’ve had to answer these questions for my own business, too.

I started by selling my own expertise, then grew that into a human-centered design agency with teams in Singapore and China. As the business evolved, I faced the same challenge many experienced experts face:

How do you turn everything you know and everything you can do into something people can understand and buy?

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked across human-centered design, product strategy, UX, innovation and digital transformation, helping organisations understand people, clarify value and turn complex ideas into experiences people can act on.

Today, I apply that same thinking to expert-led businesses.

What we clarify

Before changing your website or creating more marketing, we get clear on the business underneath it.

  • Who gets the greatest value from your work?
  • What problem should you become known for solving?
  • What are clients really buying?
  • What makes your approach meaningfully different?
  • How should the offer be structured?
  • What does someone need to understand and trust before they’re ready to buy?

Then we turn those answers into a clearer position, offer, message and client journey.

What you leave with

A stronger foundation underneath everything you say about your work.

  • A clearer position

So people know what you should be chosen for.

  • A stronger offer

So the value is easier to understand and say yes to.

  • A defined best-fit client

So the right people recognise themselves sooner.

  • Messaging that carries the value

So you stop over-explaining what you do.

  • A clearer client journey

So people know what to understand, trust and do next.

  • A focused landing page

So your business can do more of the early explaining for you.

Recent work: Nature’s Intelligence Kinesiology

Turning 20+ years of expertise into something people could recognise themselves in, and buy.

Li-Anne had more than two decades of experience and a deeply intuitive, individualised body of work. The problem was not lack of expertise. It was that the value of the work was difficult to explain clearly to someone outside her field.

So we went underneath the modalities and clarified:

  • Who the work was really for.
  • What clients were actually experiencing.
  • What they were seeking.
  • What made her approach different.
  • And how someone should move from interest to action.

That became the foundation for her positioning, messaging, offer, client journey and landing page. The website is the visible result. The deeper result is that Li-Anne now has a business that helps the right person think:

  • “She understands what I’m experiencing.”
  • “I can see why her way of working is different.”
  • “I know whether this could be right for me.”
  • “I know what to do next.”

The work turned complex expertise into something people could understand, trust, self-select into and act on.

Who this is for

For people whose business is built on their expertise.

The label matters less than the situation. You’ve spent years getting good at what you do. People who work with you understand the value. But the business may still rely too heavily on you to explain it.

If your positioning feels unclear, your offer feels broad, referrals drive most of the business, or your website does not reflect the quality of the work, this may be the real problem:

People aren’t seeing enough of the value before they’re asked to buy.

Three engagements

I’m opening three engagements for experts who want to make their expertise easier to understand, trust and buy.

I’m keeping the number small because the work depends on understanding your expertise deeply, not applying a standard template.

Where to start

You may not need more expertise. You may need more of its value to be visible.

  • So the right people can recognise themselves.
  • Understand why you’re different.
  • Trust what you do.
  • And feel confident choosing you.
